Weekend Warriors is a network for lapsed and older musicians who are rediscovering the joys of getting together to play in a band. Our goal is to have fun. Reading’s best instrument dealers and rehearsal studios have teamed up to give ex-musicians the second chance of a lifetime. It’s the chance to hook with up with other like-minded players your age. We provide a support to form a band, a place to play and the technical and musical support to get you rockin’ in no time. After 4-5 weeks of practice we play a concert for friends and family. You provide your love of music and a little bit of time.  No matter what your instrument, singing or playing level, there’s a place for you or the closet rocker in your life in Weekend Warriors.

Weekend Warriors Reading is a partnership between Reading's best music venue, rehearsal studios and your best local music stores. This brings a wealth of local knowledge and music experience together to ensure you have a great time making music with Weekend Warriors together with great ongoing support.
